The Problem
In its global product development project, a client faced issues managing changes to the product because its design was being modified simultaneously in Japan, Germany and the U.S. The client faced the need to consider how to accommodate these changes and how to arrange specifications and schedules among the various countries involved.
The Solution
As the PMO of this project, PM Global introduced a Global Change Management Process, established regular communication among global team members, and set up a Change Point Management system in order to support the launch team in Japan.
